Malaga Airport is undergoing major on going works. Once you have picked up your hirecar From the car hire depots you will leave a roundabout going towards the Motorway. Get in the left hand lane and follow the signs for Almeria & Motril E15 (yellow) & A7 (blue)) this will feed you down onto the motorway, then keep in the inside lane still following the road numbers above, as after a short time you will have to filter right. Just keep on this motorway E15 - A 7 until you reach Junction 277 - sign posted Nerja Motril Almeria and then A 7206 ALGARROBO & Caleta de Velez (N 340a) (see picture opposite). Leave the motorway here and at the bottom of the slip road enter the roundabout and exit heading north back under the Motorway following the signs to Algarrobo - Sayalonga - Competa (A 7026). Keep on this road and follow the signs to Competa.

Hidden Spain are located in the picturesque village of Competa, just under one hour´s drive East from Malaga Airport. The village stands 635 m above sea level enabling the Medeterenenan to be seen from many of the properties we have for sale. It is an area of Olive & Almond Groves together with its famous vinyards producing strong Muscatel Wine. Centred on a very picturesque Plaza Almijara dominated by the beautiful XVI Church, from here the village radiates in a laberinth of narrow streets. Facilities in the village are excellent with Medical Centre, Dentist, regular Bus Service and a wide range of Shops, Bars and Restuarants.
